Our custom oil paintings are personalized gifts for all occasions, for example the wedding anniversary of your parents, your best friend's birthday, as well as the anniversary of a well-known business partner, or the marriage of a member of your family. A custom oil painting is also a great personalized christmas gift for someone you love. To complete a painting, our artists need 3-5 weeks. The time frame will be depend from size and details.
And please note, if you want another background on a painting (as it is to see on the photo), our artists will 'make' it. If you want that we change the color of someone's shirt, if you want that we put together two persons from different photos on one painting - we will 'make' it. So, please do not hesitate to ask for any specific request you may have.
You saw the image of the oil painting above. The nice girl is my godchild. Before some time I looked for a christmas gift for her parents. But I wanted an exclusive gift - something unique that makes them really happy, and something that demonstrates my friends that they are very important to me. Maybe you know this situation.
By the way, the light white shadow you see left on the image is only a reflection of the flashlight of the camera.
I looked around the city, I searched on the internet, but I didn't find something I really thought 'That's it'. But then, some weeks later on a business trip I found in another city a small shop, where they offered exactly what I'm offering today, custom-made oil paintings - hand painted from photo. I was impressed by the samples in the shop - but the price... For the smallest portrait size of 12 x 16 they charged US$ 499.00. It was too expensive, and I walked on.
But I never forgot the samples I saw. And I thought, 'custom made oil paintings are really exclusive gifts for many occasions - it must be possible to find a way to buy such a special gift for a lower price'.
I lived and worked in different countries within the last 17 years, and therefore I have many business contacts all over the world. So, I asked different people, searched, invested a lot of time and efforts - and after all I found some artists specializing in paintings from photos. At this point I came up with the idea to offer 'oil paintings - hand painted from photos'. With the order of a portrait oil painting of my godchild I tested different artists. And I received really impressing results. On two paintings my godchild had light blue eyes, although the photo shows that there is nothing blue in her eyes. The next painting was a portrait of an artificial doll, only a very vague similarity with the photo. You might imagine how angry I was. I paid for something I didn't like. (That's why we will email you always a photo of your oil painting - before we send it to you.)
But after these few mistakes, I found lastly a few very good and trustworthy artists. I'm happy to work with these people today. Together we are able to offer you hand painted oil paintings, which are exclusive gifts for both - the person who gets the oil painting and the person who gives. We provide an individual and custom service. For instance, if you want another background on the painting (as it is to see on the photo), our artists will 'make' it. If you want that we change the color of someone's shirt, if you want that we put together two persons from different photos on one painting - we will 'make' it.
And to make this special gift absolute unique, we offer you to include at the right bottom a small personalized dedication like From ... with Love or For ... from ..., 2005, at no extra charges. Of course, this line will be painted in a color matching the overall colors of the painting.
Our artists will also paint your pet, landscapes, cars, and anything other from

How You Get Your Custom Oil Painting
We tried to make it as easy as possible for you. You don't have to complete any form. Simply click within the pricelist below on the painting size you want. Your standard mail client will open a window 'New Mail'. As you will see, the subject line will be already completed with the the requested size/number of persons and the price for your custom-made oil painting. Attach your picture as jpg file (maximum size: 200 KB) - and simply email us your order with one last click.
If you don't have an image file, you can send us your order together with your photo also by postal (air) mail. Please click on Order by Mail.

After receipt, we will confirm your order by e-mail and kindly ask for a down payment of 50%.
3-4 weeks later we will send you by e-mail a photo of your oil painting.
 If you are satisfied, we kindly ask for payment of the balance. Payments will be processed by Kagi.com. Kagi offers you various payment options, for example by all mayor credit cards, check, and cash. To learn more about Kagi, simply click on the image.
2-3 business days after receipt of payment, we will send you your custom painting by courier (usually 3-5 days to most destinations).

All prices are applicable to portrait oil paintings (head and shoulder & simple one color background) on canvas and without frame.
For full body portraits or with a complicated, colorful background (e.g. garden with
flowers, house) please add 50% to base price. If you are unsure whether you have to add
50% or not, please do not hesitate to contact* us without obligation.
 All Orders require an advance payment of 50%.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Order of a custom-made oil painting from photo is final. Why? What can we do with a painting, made after someone's photo, if a customer says after two or three weeks - "Sorry, but I found another nice gift in the meantime." - ? You are right, it's worthless for us and our artist has worked for nothing. Unfortunately, sometimes this happened in the past - and that's why we include now this note. Thank you very much for your understanding! But of course, if you are not satisfied, because in your opinion a detail on the painting is not correct, the artist will fix it.
